Why is Owens Retail Pharmacy selling?
Due to the changing dynamics within the retail pharmacy market, Owens has chosen to sell its retail business units to a partner, CVS, who will allow our customers to continue to be served with integrity and care.
Can I continue to get my prescriptions from Owens Pharmacy?
Yes.
CVS Pharmacy plans to maintain operations with the same staff in the following Owens locations, each of which will be rebranded as a CVS Pharmacy.
Redding Location
– 2025 Court Street, Ste. A, Redding CA 96001
– 1035 Placer Street, Suite 110, Redding CA 96001
– 317 Lake Boulevard, Suite B, Redding CA 96003
Anderson Location
– 2975 East Street, Anderson CA 96001
Mt. Shasta Location
– 101 West Lake Street, Mt. Shasta CA 96067
At the remaining locations, the files will automatically transfer to the nearest pharmacy location listed below.
Will CVS accept my insurance?
CVS accepts most insurances.
Can I place orders through www.myOwens.com?
Yes, up until the date the pharmacy transitions to CVS.
Can I continue to use the mobile app to order my prescriptions?
Yes, up until the date the pharmacy transitions to CVS.
What will happen with my Owens Store Charge Account?
- You will be able to use your store charge account up until the date the pharmacy transitions to CVS.
- You will receive a final bill from Owens Pharmacy and payment should be remitted to the corporate office.
- CVS will be offering a CVS Charge Account to Owens customers who have no other means to pay (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Debit/ATM cards).
Will I still be able to get delivery?
Yes, CVS offers delivery.
What discounts will be offered on front end merchandise?
All items will be 50% off beginning July 19, 2019.
